BiCon is an annual long-weekend gathering for bisexual people, their friends, partners and anyone with a supportive interest in bisexuality. There are discussion groups and workshops all day and social space & entertainment in the evening. BiCon is a community event run entirely by volunteers and aims to be accessible to everyone who would like to attend. Ticket prices range on a sliding scale (based on your income), with day tickets available from £12 (unwaged). We also have a "helping hand" fund for people who might not otherwise be able to come to BiCon.

Use the links at the top-left of this page to find your way around this site. If you've never been to BiCon before, do check out the "New to BiCon" page where you'll find some good practical help on what happens where, plus some handy hints and tips on making the most from the event.

BiCon 2009 is now over, but we're leaving this website in place for a while to give people a taste of what they can expect from future BiCons.

I'd like to say a personal thank you to everyone who came along to BiCon 2009 and helped to make it one of the biggest and most successful BiCons ever! It looks as though we spawned a fair amount of new stuff & I'm particularly glad that everyone appreciated the exra bits & bobs we included this year, including catering & the extra evening options. Every BiCon is pieced together from scratch and we're utterly dependent on what the venue is able to offer even before we start to negotiate. But this year we were particuarly lucky to be able to get the magic combination of additional facilities and sensible pricing from the wonderful folks at Worcester Uni. I guess I was running about frantically much of the time, but it kept me fit and enabled me to see a blur of happy smiling faces wherever I went. And this, for sure, is every BiCon organiser's dream come true:) I had a fab time too & after a rest will doubtless be directing more energies in the community's direction. Workshops! · 221 days ago

This year people like you have volunteered to run workshops to share
their knowledge, skills and experience, or even simply to provide a
space for people to discuss different topics. However, we still need
people to volunteer to run workshops on a variety of areas. Without
you volunteering, the workshops won’t happen.

You can also see details of how best to submit your offers of workshops/sessions

Please get involved – don’t leave it to someone else or it may not happen!
